Golden Mask
(ITEM TYPE: PLAYER/ACCOUNT ITEM, BADGE) A special invitation gorged during a rare collaboration between the Seelie and Unseelie courts. Few and worthy are those who receive it. Though they may be deemed unwelcome in the kingdoms of man, perhaps the fae know better.
"A tale is told of a prisoner long ago who woke from strange dreams to find a Golden Mask resting in her open hand. That night, the roof of her cell was rent asunder, leaving nothing behind but feathers of gold."
Golden Feather
(ITEM TYPE: TREASURE, AWARD) A golden feather that fell from a golden mask that served as an invitation from the Seelie and Unseelie rulers. It harkens back to long lost days, and what was once caged, spreading its wings in flight.
Golden Feathers are used to bring characters from one world into a new one. Using these feathers to import characters into TheGreenGame does not preclude the player from claiming the usual starter Masked character from Rook's Mask Shop.
Characters whom belonged to a silenced creed, and travel far from a lost land to the world of the fae, gain a Golden Feather permanently as a Treasure. It is added to the Items list of their Masked Profile, and can be kept as a precious keepsake, or worn. When the Masked takes on their original form while touching the Golden Feather, it is sealed within their Mask until they return to their fae form, for it contains no anti-magical materials.
The Golden Feather cannot be traded, gifted, or destroyed.
"Each feather is an invitation, beckoning the being that holds it to fly from an old world and into a new one. Those who held communion in a distant land, long ago, may find that the feather does not crumble away when used, but stays whole within their grasp, marking them as having shared in something that can never be undone."
